High-Performance CD Drive
Extremely robust and reliable, the Omnia's CD drive is based on the class-leading 6000CDT CD transport with a read-ahead digital buffer to reduce disc-reading failures. The performance of this CD mechanism is such that Omnia is able to play scratched and damaged CDs that conventional mechanisms cannot read.

Connectivity Options for Traditional Audio Sources
Using high-quality analog preamplifier circuitry, similar to the acclaimed audiolab 6000 series, coupled with line-level RCA inputs to connect analog sources, the preamplifier circuit is kept as simple as possible. Using high-quality components to maintain signal purity, with incoming signals passing to a precision analog volume stage, Omnia is an exceptional preamp in its own right.
A dedicated MM phono input allows a turntable to be directly connected to Omnia via a high-quality, low-noise phono stage with precise RIAA equalization. This phono stage is a continuous evolution of the award-winning 6000 series, designed to make the most of the music hidden within the grooves of vinyl.

Networked Audio Playback
Equipped with an Ethernet port, allowing a wired connection and broader bandwidth requirements for high-resolution digital audio.
For maximum convenience in wireless music playback, Omnia offers high-quality Bluetooth connectivity with low latency and the aptX Bluetooth standard.
The 6000A Play’s Wi-Fi is powered by DTS Play-Fi: an app-controlled platform enabling high-quality wireless audio throughout the home, capable of streaming hi-res music up to 24-bit/192kHz and supported by a wider range of established audio brands than any other wireless platform.

USB DAC Section & More
The USB DAC section is based on one of audiolab's long-term partners, the multi-award-winning pedigree of technology. The new ESS9038 Q2M SABRE 32 Reference DAC performs D/A conversion using ESS Technology's 32-bit HypersStream II architecture and the Time Domain Jitter Eliminator to deliver ultra-low noise and a wide dynamic range.
Via the USB DAC section, Omnia also offers full MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) decoding. MQA is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. Omnia includes MQA decoder technology, enabling you to play MQA audio files and streams received via the USB input at the original file’s full resolution, passing the signal through its DAC and preamplifier stages. MQA files are available via subscription to TIDAL’s HiFi tier (among other sources).
