The Fostex T925A horn super tweeter is designed to be positioned on top of the existing speaker. The tweeter has a sensitivity of 108dB and can be used from 5,000Hz to 40,000Hz. It features an Alnico magnet. The depth of this tweeter horn provides a brighter and more detailed sound compared to shallow throat horns. It is recommended to use a capacitor as a crossover in the positive line to the tweeter, with values ranging from 0.47mfd to 1.5mfd. The smaller the capacitor value, the higher the crossover point, and the quieter the tweeter becomes. If the tweeter is still too bright after trying different capacitors, a 1-ohm resistor can be added in series with the capacitor, and the various capacitors can be tested again.
