Floor-Standing Speaker Pair

Qln Prestige Three is a 2-way floor-standing speaker that inherits many elements from the Qln Signature 3. The cabinet design is at the core of its design principles. The crossover has been redesigned, and major components have been improved thanks to our experience and countless hours of listening tests, aiming to find the ideal sonic combination for this speaker. Every speaker model is unique, and every component is carefully selected and matched to ensure the highest sound quality.
As with previous Qln designs, priority has been given to eliminating technological barriers, allowing music lovers to fully focus on the magic of listening. For Qln, music should always be at the forefront, not the stereo equipment.

A slanted baffle ensures perfect time alignment between the woofer and tweeter. The truncated pyramid-shaped top of the cabinet, with its minimized baffle area, suppresses standing waves inside the cabinet and also improves three-dimensional imaging.
The cabinet construction utilizes Qln’s unique Qboard® technology, which eliminates structural resonances. The bass reflex port, with its trumpet shape on both ends, eliminates air turbulence.
The cabinet is decoupled from the floor via solid feet with cones and pucks made from rigid, high-damping materials.
The constant impedance crossover has been completely redesigned and hand-wired with non-inductive capacitors for the tweeter and high-quality oil-filled capacitors for the woofer, using flat foil inductors in the most critical positions. All components are secured with damping glue, and the remaining coils are baked to avoid internal resonances. High-power handling resistors ensure stable performance with lower noise and precise timing across the crossover, maintaining minimal noise throughout the frequency range.

The bass/midrange and high-frequency drivers have been custom-selected and developed by the renowned Danish driver manufacturer Scan Speak, delivering the best in 21st-century driver technology.
The coated Kevlar® bass/midrange driver, with copper rings integrated into the magnetic system, ensures symmetrical drive and superior midrange dynamics, suppressing intermodulation distortion and providing exceptional vocal handling and dynamics in a 2-way design. The long-stroke woofer, with a 19 mm voice coil, perfectly complements the large internal volume to deliver powerful bass below 30 Hz.
The unique tweeter offers extraordinary vocal rendition and excellent imaging in all listening positions. Its large roll surround and textile dome diaphragm provide a flat frequency response above 30 kHz with outstanding off-axis dispersion. The AirCirc magnet system and rear chamber eliminate reflections and resonances.

The internal cabling is specially designed and produced in Sweden. Solid-core pure copper wires are wrapped around a polypropylene core with polypropylene insulation. All components are carefully hand-selected and individually tested for deviations. The speaker terminals feature WBT Nextgen® connectors, using minimal material to reduce distortion, made of silver/copper.

All components share one common characteristic: non-resonant behavior, from connectors and cables to the crossover, drivers, cabinet, and damping feet. This suppresses unwanted noise, offering better dynamics and greater silence between tones thanks to a reduced noise floor.
