The inclined baffle ensures perfect time alignment between the woofer and tweeter, while the cabinet’s truncated pyramid-shaped top, with its minimized baffle area, suppresses standing waves within the cabinet and baffle effects, enhancing the 3D imaging. The cabinet construction is based on Qln’s unique Qboard® technology, which eliminates structural resonances. The bass reflex port, featuring trumpet shapes at both ends, eliminates air turbulence. The cabinet is decoupled from the floor using solid feet with cones and discs made from high-damping materials.

The 184 mm Kevlar® mid-woofer was custom-developed by Qln in collaboration with renowned Danish driver manufacturer Scan Speak and represents the cutting edge of 21st-century driver technology. It features an under-hung magnet system, where the voice coil remains entirely within the magnetic gap, ensuring a fully linear motor system. Along with its highly open basket design, this allows for airflow without compression or turbulence, offering greater micro-detail and reducing the acoustic noise typical of standard baskets. Copper rings integrated into the magnetic system provide symmetric drive and low voice coil inductance, resulting in superior midrange dynamics and suppression of intermodulation distortion.
The 184 mm rigid-cone woofer, with the same unique magnetic system as the mid-woofer, works harmoniously with the internal volume of both drivers to produce well-controlled and powerful bass down to 26 Hz.

The advanced 25 mm wide-surround tweeter delivers outstanding vocal reproduction and excellent imaging from all listening positions. Its large rolled surround and fabric dome diaphragm ensure a flat frequency response beyond 30 kHz with excellent off-axis dispersion. The unique AirCirc magnet system and rear chamber eliminate reflections and resonances.

The constant impedance crossover of the Prestige Five is rigidly wired with non-inductive capacitors, bypassed with copper film capacitors for the tweeter section. For the mid-woofer, we exclusively use flat-wire inductors. All components are secured with soft glue for damping, and the coils are baked to prevent internal resonances within the components and the filter.
Precision metal-film resistors with high power-handling capacity, low noise, and stable temperature performance are used, ensuring perfect synchronization within the crossover and low noise across the entire frequency range.

The internal wiring is custom-designed by Qln and produced in Sweden. It features a solid pure copper core wound around a polypropylene core with polypropylene insulation, enclosed in high-damping acoustic shielding to minimize acoustic feedback. Every component is carefully hand-selected and individually tested for deviations.
The speaker terminals are WBT Nextgen® connectors made from high-quality silver-plated copper, with minimal copper mass to reduce energy storage and distortion, ensuring the purest contact with the speaker cable.
For internal acoustic damping, we use natural wool, the best material for internal acoustic damping, with a small amount of synthetic fiber to achieve the proper density.

Every part of the speaker shares one key characteristic: non-resonant behavior. From the connectors, cables, and crossover components to the drivers, cabinet, and damping feet, all are designed to suppress unwanted noise. This significantly enhances dynamics and preserves the silence between notes, thanks to the low noise floor. The Prestige Five delivers a more dynamic and relaxing sound with exceptional clarity.
