Building on the success of our popular LS6 monitor, the LS6/f is a floor-standing loudspeaker system that combines a modern aesthetic with the open, neutral sound expected from a Graham Audio system.

The integrated plinth provides an optimized path for airflow from the port, reducing distortion at high output levels.

The LS6/f uses the same custom drivers as the stand-mount LS6 and features an optimized crossover network with high-quality components to integrate the acoustic output from both drivers and equalize the overall response for optimal performance in open space. A switch on the front panel adds 1 or 2 dB to the tweeter level, which can be advantageous in certain acoustic environments.

Like all our loudspeakers, the cabinet uses the classic BBC "thinwall" construction, where the panels are mass-loaded to ensure that resonances are moved away from the critical mid-range region, and a layer of Rockwool is held in place by fabric to provide air damping.

Hand-matched veneers are applied and finished to very high standards. The grille is carefully designed to minimize diffraction effects and is held in place by concealed rare-earth magnets.

The speaker is capable of recreating the atmosphere of a small jazz club with a tangibility that surpasses that of many other loudspeakers. Its ability to reproduce such a realistic performance is so intense that the listener may occasionally be surprised by unexpected details that break the sound sequence.

Graham Audio loudspeakers, with their inherent dynamics typical of BBC monitor designs, offer a unique responsiveness. The ability to start and stop instantly is one of the areas in which these speakers excel, outperforming even more expensive models. Additionally, the high-frequency openness contributes significantly to the impression of vividness and sonic precision.
