The Furutech E-TP80ES NCF is a sophisticated and extremely well-designed power supply, eliminating many common problems with audio and video devices caused by poor quality power supplies. The AC waveform is strongly distorted by ground noise, voltage peaks and troughs, high-frequency power supply noise from other devices in your power grid, and high-frequency digital noise generated by processors and digital interconnections.

The Furutech E-TP80ES NCF power strip is a great help in solving these problems. Its magnificent aluminum chassis effectively protects the electrical signal from radio frequency interference (RFI) and a GC-303 Formula layer blocks electromagnetic interference (EMI). Furutech µ-14 (14AWG) internal wiring ensures low resistance. The Schuko Furutech E-TP80ES NCF Schuko Furutech plugs are wired to the IEC input of the power distributor. These sockets feature gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts with non-magnetic conductors for stable, durable and optimized power transfer.

Alpha Treatment
The two-step Alpha process developed by Furutech significantly improves the performance of the device. This treatment begins during the manufacturing process by deep cryogenic freezing of all metal parts. By using specific refrigerants - liquid N2 or He - Furutech reaches temperatures between -196°C and -250°C. The treated parts modify their molecular structure, thus relieving internal stresses. The molecules bind more closely together and the overall structure becomes more stable. This improves electrical conductivity and therefore the transfer of power and signals.

The second stage of the Alpha treatment exposes the same parts to the patented ring demagnetization treatment. Ordinary high-power magnets used for this purpose often increase the magnetic effects and leave some areas more magnetized than others. This patented process uses controlled attenuation to completely eliminate the magnetization and achieve better performance, including conductivity.

GC-303 Formula
The GC-303 is a special material that Furutech bonds to the inner bottom plate of the chassis, absorbing any EMI noise that may be transmitted by your power source or generated by a unit's internal equipment.

Filtering
Furutech's new E-TP80ES NCF series features a high quality filter and MOV circuitry: EMI filter and surge protection combined. Voltage fluctuations and spikes can damage sensitive electronic devices. The overvoltage protection circuitry provides an effective response to protect your system. During a voltage spike, the MOV circuit automatically cuts the power to the EMI filter line on the main board to prevent a possible short circuit. This MOV circuit also dampens any electrical and mechanical resonance caused by electrical resistance, heat and energy flow. For your convenience, LEDs indicate the normal operation of the surge protection function and EMI filters. When the LEDs are lit, you are protected from noise and power surges.

Nano Crystal² Formula (NCF)
Integrated in a selection of Furutech products, NCF is based on a special crystalline material with two active properties. First, NCF generates negative ions that eliminate static electricity. Second, it converts thermal energy into infrared. Furutech combines this material with Ceramic nanoparticles and Carbon powder for their piezoelectric damping properties. Furutech thus obtains the optimal electrical and mechanical damping material.
