A preamplifier must keep the audio signal as pure as possible, while amplifying and routing various source signals to the power amplifier.
The goal of the engineer is to achieve “a straight wire with gain” design, nothing more and nothing less.
Of course, the realization of this goal is much harder than it seems, but Synthesis’s experience and meticulous circuit design has produced a string of exceptional stereo preamplifiers over the years, which has been taken to new heights in the Ecstasy. The Ecstasy is designed for the hi-fi purist in terms of its minimalist approach and absolute musical fidelity.
Independent to the mains transformer, each channel has a separate power supply to maintain excellent interference immunity between channels.
Component parts, such as an separated oversized power transformer and selected metallised polypropylene capacitors, along with circuit topology, have been carefully selected to obtain the best sound possible.

SYNTHESIS OVATION Power amplifier
The new Synthesis Ovation is a flexible two-channel power amplifier.
It can be used as part of multi-channel systems, or as a stand-alone two-channel power amplifier. The Ovation has a rated output of 50 watts per channel (6 ?) built around 12AU7 on input and driver and EL34/6CA7 power tubes in a pentode push-pull configuration.
This power amplifier is known for its uncoloured and excellent reproduction qualities. The Ovation is analytic, and build for dynamic reproduction for low level as well as high level playback. From the first note of any familiar recording, you will be captivated by the Ovation and by the musical enjoyment it will give you.
